Recently enjoyed my first visit here as part of a large group outing. The ambiance isn't much, but the servers did a great job of keeping up with food and drink orders for the crowd and we very attentive.
All the apps that I tried (especially the ceviche) were great. I had the lomo saltado for my entree and it was just "ok" but not bad enough to ruin the night. They also had karaoke going which provided for some entertainment. -

My experience was decent. We made a reservation thinking is going to be busy but actually was a bit slow. The lunch menu is a great idea. You get an appetizer plus an entree for $12.99. We ordered our food but they didn't have anything that we wanted to order. We changed our order 3 times! My thing is if you just open your restaurant please make sure you prep your food if you putting those items in the menu! The food was decent. I have so much better Peruvian food. Actually Ecuadorian food is way better.
The ceviche was good. The potato appetizer a bit weird. -

I'm sad to write this review because the food is yummy and I have given this place over five tries. Something always goes wrong at this place.
The to go things are not packaged properly so there is almost always a mess, last time I ordered something to go it was all over my car floor by the time I got home ( 5 min drive ) because of the flimsy packaging and the hole in the bag.
Either eat there and bare with the slow service, don't take your leftovers to go because they're not going to be packaged properly. -

Food is always too salty.
BEWARE of the fact that they try to get $ out of you. Seriously. My friend ordered the salad. Didn't ask to add protein. Waitress asked "chicken or salmon?". Not "did you want to add chicken or salmon?" Phrasing alone implies you can only choose chicken or salmon. Both options add $6 or $7 to the meal. Looked miffed when we said just the salad.
Then when the check came. 18% service charge. Why?? Menu said 18% service charge on parties of 6 or more. We were a party of three. -

I've been here many times for painting events and normally don't order anything to eat as my palette is not very diverse. I finally decided to order a dish that consisted of wet mushy rice on the bottom of the bowl, which was covered by big delicious shrimp, some muscles, a few clams and small shrimp the sausage was pretty flavorful but quite acidy. The dish itself was pretty good. What really surprised me was that they told me they didn't have any diet or regular cola. Hummm..... Instead they offered an 'Inca Cola.' I've never had an Inca cola before & let's just say I will probably never order one again.
